An independent school that offers secondary and pre-university education for about 4,000 students is seeking for a securer campus. It believes that safety for students and staff is the top priority. In order to strengthen the security and reduce aggression and criminality, the school district needs to make sure that they are well-protected with the selection of an appropriate surveillance system.
2.0 Megapixel WDR IP Fisheye Camera (SNC-WD22022)
Full HD 1080P HDCCTV Vandal-Proof Dome Camera (SSC-WDL4203M)
As one of our valued partners in Singapore, iTAG offered a complete video surveillance solution with 75 units of SNC-WD22022 and SSC-WDL4203M to create a thorough surveillance system, not only providing a safer learning environment, but also helping the school catch and record conflicts, thefts and other incidents.
SNC-WD22022 is equipped with a 1/2.8” Sony 2.0 Megapixel Progressive Exmor™ CMOS Sensor and fisheye lens. It provides high quality video images of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels and 360° field of view. A total of 25 SHANY cameras were installed in the classrooms and the staff offices. With the assistance of the wide angle field of view, the number of camera units needed for complete coverage is substantially reduced.
SSC-WDL4203M, a 2.1MP dome-style HD-SDI camera with an IR-cut filter and 30 built-in IR LEDs, enables itself to provide enough illumination for clear viewing in distance up to 20 meters. Also, SSC-WDL4203M’s remarkable WDR enhancement function is capable of identifying image details in either extremely bright or dark environments. Moreover, other high-end features such as vandal-proof, fog reduction, water-proof, etc., appropriately construct SSC-WDL4203M to be an ideal option for monitoring hallways, parking lots, stairways and the main entrance of student dormitory.
“After using the surveillance system, we found in addition to the high-quality images provided by SHANY cameras, the overall performance is stable and reliable as well. It would be an easy decision to remain the cooperation with SHANY upon having other projects in the future.” – said the School Security Officer.
